Meghan Markle Accused of Falsehood Regarding Clash with Kate Middleton Over Flower Girl Dresses in New Book

The ongoing saga involving Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton has taken another intricate turn.

In Tom Bower’s latest riveting royal biography, “Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors,” the author revisits the well-known dispute over the flower girl dresses worn at the Sussexes’ 2018 wedding. Bower vehemently asserts that it was, in fact, Meghan who caused Kate to shed tears, contradicting Meghan’s claim.

Excerpts from the book, published by the Daily Mail, depict Kate Middleton, aged 40, as “bursting into tears” following Meghan’s comparison of her 7-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, to her best friend Jessica Mulroney’s daughter, Isabel, aged 9, in an unfavorable light.

Bower’s sources reveal that Middleton and her soon-to-be sister-in-law engaged in a heated disagreement over the length and fit of Charlotte’s dress, as well as whether the young girls should wear tights while walking down the aisle.

Kate Middleton also reportedly felt outnumbered, with Mulroney and her mother siding with Meghan in the dispute.

The controversy over the dresses initially made headlines in 2018, with reports suggesting that Meghan had caused Kate to cry. However, during her high-profile interview with Oprah Winfrey, the former actress vehemently asserted that the reports were false and that she was the one who had shed tears that day.

Furthermore, Meghan expressed her disappointment that the royal family had not come to her defense as more stories circulated about the incident.
